I like the loops but I’ve found I prefer the style with the soft barbs, making sure they are ones with no hard plastic. Easier to put in while half asleep and more comfortable. A lot cheaper too.

If it was actually good people may not have cared so much.


It may not slow down the data collection much, other than perhaps people using different cards at different times, but if you aren’t in a loyalty program, the only place they could market specifically to you would be at the checkout.
Unless I guess they are upfront about facial recognition and have screens in store… which just sounds awful.

I wonder how much of that is EV drivers not bothering to service their vehicles, obviously no oil change required, and things like brake pads don’t get maintained so well.
