Look into hydrogen production from water electrolysis, if you’re really producing a significant surplus.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Should cash stay alive to enable "private" transactions?
0·3 days agoUnfortunately I don’t have an official source either, I’ve seen it on a Telegram channel a few days ago. Banknote serials are logged when dispensed from ATMs and when cash is being counted at the bank, e.g. when brought in by a business. So there are already checkpoints for banknote tracking. Cash isn’t as anonymous as people think, but for coins.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Should cash stay alive to enable "private" transactions?
0·5 days agoThat’s at government’s discretion. E.g. they might decide to increase the velocity of money, by causing it to expire. The point is that they can render your cash invalid, with no recourse.

2·7 days agoSome enterprises do run their own hardware (these can ROI in 6 months or so), and there the economics is very well known. For the majority of the current use it’s a giant bubble, as Ed Zitron’s great analyses keep telling us.

You can run an ICE on hydrogen, with some minor modifications. If you have enough space you can store the produced hydrogen at near atmospheric pressure in a gas holder/gasometer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_holder
As to nitrogen fertilizer, there have been recent improvements in air nitrogen fixation by way of an electric arc/plasma: https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=nitrogen+fixation+electric+arc&ia=web e.g. https://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlehtml/2021/ra/d1ra01357b
