God… it fits.

Tax the rich is an old idiom from yesteryear when the public actually believed wealth redistribution worked for the greater good. And then it was debunked because the ultra wealthy already have most of their wealth in non-fungible assets, i.e. non taxable form. And their revenue comes through setting up shop offshore. Better luck next time, everyone.

You could take every single away from billionaires, given how incredibly corrupt governments are these days, nothing would change.

We need reliable, trustworthy governments first.

Its too bad America’s most prosperous time’s conditions elude them when it is literally written in permanent record why it was.
