      Wait to you hear about the historically inaccurate cyclops and sirens.

      We all know that was just some one eyed Minoan and a bunch of Mycenaean trollops.

        Well actschually, the Cyclops was most likely a dead elephant, but why care about the details, Nolan clearly doesn’t.

          I mean a reanimated dead elephant would be pretty badass. Maybe we can get that in the more historically accurate work of fantasy, the Winds of Winter.

        I have no problem with that. My problem is that it is fantasy set in a real time in human history, and it deviates from that source it is based on. It is an adoption of all great work of art and it fumbles with the details.
