    Just finished a playthrough of this. Wonderful game. A lot of love for the genre and the medium shines though. A completionist run is especially rewarding and the level design and music in particular shine. Their previous game The Messenger is also worth checking out.

    This game is great! The story is decent, but doesn’t take itself ridiculously seriously. It is well written in my opinion and there are cartoon style cutscenes that are nice. The combat is fun and I enjoyed the variety of different combo moves using 2 characters.

    One of the best games I have played in recent memory.

    If you’re ok with humble bundle it’s in the humble bundle monthly along with some other good games like tunic for less than buying just the game alone.

        They’ve had some controversy ever since they were bought by IGN. Stuff like keys being removed if you don’t redeem them quickly and expiring keys in general. There were a few other things that I can’t think of at the moment but you could deep dive if you’re curious.

        I was mostly prefacing it because some people don’t want to support them but they are legit keys and it will be a better deal.
