But it is christlike. Christ lied to get his way. You can go to church and try to call out hypocrites, but it will likely just fuel their persecution fetish. They interpreted the vague and contradictory bible to paint a Jesus they can weaponize. Can you honestly prove them wrong? Can we call Jesus and ask what he meant?
This is why I get so agitated when anyone suggests that everyone is entitled to their beliefs. Many beliefs are wrong and harmful and we really should not have tolerated them for so long.
