This isn’t as big of an issue on other apps, but I notice it a lot on this one. On other Lemmy apps, you just pick a folder and media automatically gets downloaded there.

If you check(tap on the link) your Default save location setting, is a folder specified? I’m on v1.468 and it doesn’t ask me for a folder when I download an image. Also, is the issue for image posts or more specific, like images in comments or something?
