It creates conformity, obedience, loyalty to “the cause.” And some psychopath on a power trip will always try to come in and take power. The people are ripe for manipulation when in the state of “revolution”. Doesn’t matter if it’s France or Russia. It’s a problem with humans following hierarchy. And the “sunk cost fallacy”.
