      Sure, but if a thing isn’t viable in the real world then it’s not a very meaningful theory. It sucks, and I wish it wasn’t the case, but we don’t have many lists of utopian societies that worked out and became secure members of the global community.

      If the awful people currently in power in the world are just going to burn your civilization down and you can’t account for and stop that then you’re not going to succeed at making something better.
