It’s worth mentioning that the last time we had a huge crash, the economy was a hair’s breadth from shutting down ATMs and the Bush admin pushed for a bailout.
Sure congress approved it but this is after 8 years of a republican admin forcing the country through 2 forever wars, 9-11, the patriot act and now the GREAT RECESSION. .
Yet, it was during the bush admin when republican deregulation inevitably led to rampant off the books derivative investments, credit default swaps etc… the bailout helped their friends.
I mention all this to point out if you vote for a repub in the next pres election, you are voting against the economy and against healing. “Bailouts for all” is akin to Trump pardoning all the pedos. It’s a GOP thing.

In fact I believe that’s one of the reasons these tech companies are willing to throw it all into AI. I think they feel protected.
