So the fact that the store would lose more money to the 10% discount is what incentivizes them to use cashiers. All y’all tripping over making these 2 numbers equivalent are missing the point entirely.

Perhaps we should solve it by making customers pay a fee for using self checkout! You know, those poor, downtrodden businesses really do need all the help they can get.
