When they say “Think of the children” they’re not thinking of their health and well-being

    I mean…

His dad was an adult when he met his mom (who was a child) and they met because he walked up and flashed his dick to her and her (also underaged) friends…

Like, the son was raised by at least one pedophile, and the other was at least ok with pedophila…

@givesomefucks @Sarlou Guilt by association. This is what happens when you have scum running this country into the pig pens or data center or for profit prisons.

        Guilt by association.

        Super confused here…

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_fallacy

That’s “guilt by association”, and as you can probably guess by that link, it’s not exactly viewed in a positive light…

However, the fact that most pedophiles were themselves abused as child, and we know for a legal fact that his father sexually abused three girls (flashing at a bowling alley, at least) and the only one who didn’t talk to cops gave birth to Tyler at 18…

It’s not exactly a stretch to be concerned their children would eventually grow up into pedophiles themselves.

They’d have been doing this regardless of if trump was elected.

They were doing this before trump was elected. Boebart was elected before trump.

        https://www.businessinsider.com/lauren-boebert-grandmother-son-baby-2023-6

Lauren Boebert became a grandmother at 36 years old…

        Does that sound crazy?

That made her mom a Great-Grandma at 54 years old.

That’s my entire point, this shit is generational. They’re gonna keep raising kids who become parents before legal adults. And when that norm is so consistently broken, virtually every other line regarding age is as well. As is the line between adults and children.

The only thing I would challenge from your post is the assumption that “most” pedophiles were abused as children. Unless new studies have come out recently, and they very well might have, I believe about 30% of perpetrators were themselves victims.

            I shouldn’t have said “most”…

But all of the numbers involved are a lot higher than reported, so it is hard to tell.

However, that was a bit of a tangent.

The broader picture is that family on both sides have normalized treating teenagers as adults.

I’m not sure what the ages are for the Tyler and his baby momma, but I believe he was like highschool senior and the girl was a freshman. Dating alone that’s a weird age gap, he knocked her up during the school year, a pregnancy takes 9 months…

I’m not saying so much an abused kid becomes an abuser.

I’m saying that pedophiles raise pedophiles. Because in that household the line between adult and child aren’t what’s normal or legal. They might have been fine with their son and that girl having sex in their house whenever, because to his parents, 14 and 17 is “grown” and ready to start their own family if they want.

They truly believe it’s ok and they’re old enough.

And that leads to even more teenage pregnancies and great-grandmas in their 50s
