The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has upgraded an egg recall to its highest risk classification following a Salmonella Enteritidis outbreak.
The eggs produced by Midwest Poultry Services in Texas were originally recalled in late July, as nearly 1.6 million dozen eggs were placed under potential salmonella contamination in multiple states, including Oklahoma.
The recall is now Class I, which is considered “a situation in which there is reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death,” per the FDA. At least 98 people were sick and 26 were hospitalized across 17 states between Nov. 21, 2025, and June 30.

Don’t we fucking pay taxes that are supposed to support regulatory orginazarions to avoid this? I’m paying more than ever and getting nothing
We almost got a 1.8 billion dollar slush fund and a 1 billion dollar ballroom.
Oh yeah we also did spend $42+ billion on a war nobody wants or wanted.
FDA and CDC were also cut 20% and 25% in the last year. CDC went from 11 scientists working on protecting us to 3. 3 people for the entire US.
Our money is going to all the right places to protect us from harm!
I have to say to if I was one of the three im not putting in extra time just because others are gone.
Your taxes are going to grift, Israel, weapons, and federal thugs to terrorize neighborhoods.
we need standards and testing bodys to independently test the food and certify it is safe to eat
Oh no, the poor salmonella is at risk of entering Americans! Luckily some eggs were spared.
