There was a case where a Saudi prince’s son is in a coma for 20 years straight due to an accident hoping that someday he’ll regain consciousness, but that didn’t happen since he passed away when the family decided to pull the plug as hopes of his recovery are slim. I mean, they have money to pay for medical bills however money didn’t guarantee his survival as that did not negate the fact he died.

You see a similar thing with terminal cancer patients with low chance of recovery only living off medication that only causes more suffering than actually curing them, since medicine has side effects and chemicals alone harm the body in which overtime it becomes resistant to its effects rendering the medicine’s purpose null. You can afford all that even if you’re rich but won’t truly get rid of cancer overnight.

    I was hoping that one shitty silver lining of having so many billionaires, one of thems gotta be so scared of dying they’d be willing to spend their money to cheat death
