Congratulations to Angie Nixon. beating Alexander Vindman is quite an accomplishment, he was not a bad candidate for a democrat. Testifying against Trump in 2019 brought him a lot of respect, and he had more campaign money too!
IMO he was a pretty bad candidate. He gave the dems several news cycles of criticizing Trump when he testified before congress so he was kind of gifted this race by the party. He’s a milquetoast as they come and completely unproven as he’s never run for anything else. He would have gotten creamed in the general. We’ll see how a DSA candidate performs in a statewide election in Florida.

I’m not denying that, but he was known for standing up to trump, that can carry you a long way.
I respect his service to the country and his courage. But he wasn’t going to move the needle in Florida. He wasn’t even from there.
