If you have a problem with sidekicks, do you then have a problem with:

Captain America The Flash Wonder Woman Superman Martian Manhunter Aquaman

Green Arrow (who’s a straight-up Batman copycat)

Damn near every League member Etc., etc.

Can you just answer that question? If not, then just say:

“Yeah, I’m not a real fan. I know nothing about these characters. I’m just jumping on the bandwagon because Batman is the most famous hero, and I know nothing about Marvel and DC because I’m not a real fan.”
