although i have set up a google account just for my chromecast with its own email, it still doesn’t feel like its enough

I’m guessing getting rid of it isn’t enough anymore ? I’m getting pretty freaked out by all this my parents have like 3 of them
If I were you, I’d install a second router with a firewall on their network and only connect to that.
