    Legitimately a lawyer can fix this. He has a clean record and that is all that will matter.

      That may be accurate, but it won’t do him any good if he dies of neglect or suffers irreversible damage to his health before he even gets a chance to show up in court.

      I think I get why you typed this - to perhaps shine some hope on a hopeless situation. The truth, however, is that this guy might never get to his lawyer, and is lucky we even know he exists to maybe keep a light on the cockroaches so they can’t just carry him away.
