Donald Trump on Sunday called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to halt strikes on Russian diesel, saying the attacks are causing a fuel shortage.

Ukraine’s long-range strikes have been targeting Russia’s oil and gas industry for months, which Kyiv says both funds and directly fuels Moscow’s more than four-year-old invasion of its neighbor.

The Ukrainian drone campaign has caused fuel rationing across Russia, despite the country being a key oil and gas exporter. Other Ukrainian strikes targeted major Russian online retailers, bringing the war ever closer to the public.

That’s what wars are GOOD for.

WHY would Trump START a war if he didn’t want prices to go up?

He’s talking about diesel prices in the US. Which is true in absolute, but not in magnitude. Impressive way to distract from the US-Israel war on Iran that created the bulk of the global shortage. :D

Stop or what? You’ll pull all aid? You’ll pressure Ukraine to surrender to the Russians?

Oh wait, you’ve already done that.

    Get fucked, Trump.

While I don’t want to be a Negative Nancy, I also don’t want the remaining forces of the West to lose touch with reality, so I feel I should point out that there are still things Trump could do to put even more pressure on Ukraine, so we shouldn’t be flippant about the threat he still poses.

          Shouldn’t? 100%.

          Wouldn’t? 0%

I feel the fuck Trump mentality to my bones. And I get that talking shit in our little corner of the internet will accomplish fuck all either way, so have at it.

But in the big picture, Tango is right, Trump has the power to make things much worse for Ukraine, and the emotional maturity of a two year old. The means don’t justify the ends, especially when those ends are Trump switching from passive fucking with Ukraine, to active.

To be clear, I don’t disagree with the fact that Trump needs to take a long walk off a short pier. My point is that we can’t afford to convince ourselves that Trump has already done all the damage he’s going to do.

Of course the world should just lie back and take it while these thugs (Trump, Putin and their oligarchs) gang rape the rest of us.
