The all feed on YouTube is completely useless now, so for those that only use the subscribed tab, what’s your favourite channels?
I’m liking the PBS channels, Ryan Georg and pitch meeting, stuff made here, animagraffs, map men, practical engineering, tasting history, and couple of more but kinda similar theme.
Camping With Steve for wholesome stealth camping as well as some quirky and conventional camping. Hand Tool Rescue for slight nonsense simple restoration videos for old hand tools. Any Austin for chill deep dives into parts of video game design that are often overlooked. Channel5 for man on the street style journalism with looks into alternative American cultures and subsects. Internet Comment Etiquette for poignant and hilarious examinations of Internet culture. Just to make a few

I like Not Just Bikes
Tom Scott - He is back with new videos every week: !tomscott@lemmy.zip
I’ve been watching History in Taberna recently, which is a silly history meets cooking mashup.
Also love Technology Connections and PBS Spacetime.

Coldwarmotors - Canadian rednecks working on old junk cars, mostly. They’re pretty funny at times and informative if you’re interested in old American cars, they also do old French and old British cars sometimes. They also do actual restorations. He did a 60 Plymouth Fury that I wouldn’t have even bothered with and spliced it with the platform of a 60 Dodge and made a really nice car.
Fall of Civilizations - It’s a podcast, but he does video accompanyment and the content is very well written and researched.
Thenthapple - does fallout lore videos that I really like.
JTCurtisMusic - has a really good history of rock series.
WellRedComedy - Trae Crowder (the liberal redneck), Cory Ryan Forrester, and Drew Morgan do podcasts from a rural progressive view and also have a lot of their stand-up and comedy sketches

Great list; I recognize a few, but not many, and the topics covered are weirdly aligned with my own interests. Thanks!
A couple that haven’t already been mentioned: This Old Tony Sixty Symbols Legal Eagle Stefan Gotteswinter Matt Godbolt Kaname Naito
Legal Eagle has only gotten better with time. Liz Dyer is my favorite addition.
Fortnine: allegedly bikes but the videos are works of art.
Bad Obsession Motorsport: a new Project Binky video at least every 6 months!
RRC Restoration: a Scotsman doing up old bikes and cars.
Jeffiot: long form internet investigations of silly things that are fascinating.
New Yorkshire Workshop: a man doing up a house. No commentary, just amazing skills and great filming.
Hermitcraft is usually good, PBS eons, TeirZoo, independent news (of the liberal/leftist variety), Overly sarcastic productions, Historia Civilis, inequality media, CGP Grey are all good stuff. I also enjoy Civvie11, YatzeeCroshaw, ERB, and a bunch of folks who mostly post shorts.
Oh, and if you are into Minecraft stuff, I’m trying to get back into content production myself. Same username.
