I mean, the thing is that this is sadly accurate to how the DSM-5 categorizes these. There is a singular category for Autism Spectrum Disorder but there is no singular category for Fascism-itis. Obviously, there are diagnoses for disorders that correlate with it, but it is not categorized or treated like an illness/disorder on its own.

tbf, there’s increasing discussion of the possibility that what we regard as the autism spectrum is actually several, unrelated diagnoses with some amount of comorbidity.
Obviously this doesn’t change life for people diagnosed as autistic all that much, but it is an interesting reminder that even our medical classifications are constantly refined in an attempt to hew closer to an objective (or at least objectively-based) truth.
