I made grilled sausage in a bread roll with cream cheese, grilled onion, fried jalapeño.

It’s a pretty good combo but the cream cheese sort of tamps down the flavour profile in a way I’m not fond of.

Took advantage of the warmer weather and had dinner down by the water. Caught sight of a little rakali having a swim and scurry over the rocks.

Feeling very blah today. Low energy and motivation. I have some semi-pressing life admin to do but nothing that can’t wait til tomorrow. Dinner might be an egg and avocado on toast. Sigh.

I can’t stand that posh-acting bitchy blonde woman with her bushranger-bearded sub husband. I guess, given the formula of these shows, she’s the one that’s been put there as “the one you love to hate,” but ok you got me 🙋🏼‍♀️Those bogan chicks are hard to look at and even harder to listen to! People who think that “keeping it real” is an excuse to be rude and obnoxious. Love the two nurses. Don’t think much of the other couple either.

Jane the I’m more of a taster than an eater. Lol. I hope the nurses bring delicious food to the table because I’m barracking for them too.

Partner has a neighbour’s backyard outside his bedroom window where a kid wakes up at 6am everyday and plays basketball with his dad, and they’re often making a lot of noise. I hope this kid goes beyond the rec league.

Not sure what they’re like new now, so forgive if this isn’t real helpful, but I’ve got a 10 year old Fisher and Paykel 6kg top loader that’s still chugging along fine touches wood. My washer has to go in a tight spot which doesn’t allow for a front opening door. I also have knee issues which override any pleasure obtainable from watching a front loading “laundry telly” 😆

I got my fridge, washing machine, and dryer from Kids off the Kerb in Thomastown, like over 10 years ago. The washing machine only died last year or the year before, still have the fridge and it works great, and I donated the dryer back to them when I moved and didn’t have room.

They don’t seem to have an online store, but I think if you give them a call they could help? Idk I hate making calls so totally understand if you wouldn’t want to do that, they’re just local (as in Melbourne based) and a charity.

Check out Appliances Online - I’ve had good results from them and they take away the old machine for recycling. Next day delivery. Yes they have top loaders small and large and you can sort for that on their website. My current top loader came from there and has been good for 4 plus years.

I’ve bought from AA before - both my fridge and freezer are from there - but hoping for a local bricks and mortar if possible

yeah we’re looking at them, but we know from the Dishwasher Debacle that they tend to not have actual stock, just showrooms and when they finally do order in the stock you’ve already paid for they sell it to someone who’s just fucking walked in…

knee and back issues, and also up against a big fat wall of Autism that says NO NO NO I DO NOT LIKE HOW THEY FEEL COMING OUT OF FRONT LOADER.

We do offset the damage by directing the runoff into the garden, and also filtration and storage.

Looks like that massive sound rig that was at the warehouse rave is still in melbs. Event on at the croxton this satdee. 3 home made rigs 2 rooms. Big room with 2 of the rigs (which are also massive) doing dub / reggae, and the one that was at the warehouse rave a few months ago doing strictly Drum and Bass (weeee) in another room. Last one there was heaving,

$40 tix is a good deal for the effort these people have put into their rigs. Including time / materials, transport etc they’d be running at a loss I’m sure of it, but they still throw 'em!

The Croc really has re-vitalized since covid. Lots of interesting bands/music. Ditto the Cactus Room and Shotkickers.

Anyone else see a bunch of people wearing this “Elite Eleven” brand of hoodies? Where did it come from and why is it so popular right now?

I’ve seen ads for White Fox at least. Their market seems to be basic white women. Elite Eleven’s target market seems to be “Facebook user that has been to the gym before?”

Decided to haul ass into work early as I was awake (kind of) and we’re pretty booked up so was expecting a line out the door… nope.

I did get to watch a cute interaction between two drivers “what’s your driver number? OMG mine is only a few after yours! Do you have a radio? Let’s talk!”
