I’m looking for specific suggestions of what I can do to find a group that I can join for the purpose of building a real revolution inside the USA. I’m trying and finding it very difficult. The closest was PSL but honestly my local branch seems kind of limp. That and I’m not academically inclined enough to get through Capital.

All of these ended up with mass bloodshed and the death of millions. France recovered, arguably the other two are still suffering the consequences of these revolutions with autocratic governments and mass human rights abuses

No? This is nonsense Red Scare fearmongering, in socialist Cuba and Russia life expectancy skyrocketed, poverty rates plummeted, and society saw mass democratization in a unitary socialist system.

Are you joking? You’re trying to argue that the French weren’t guillotining people en masse, that Stalin didn’t starve millions to death with flawed industrial policy and ship a metric ton of people to gulags, and just look at the current state of Cuba. I’m not anti socialist but the USSR and Communist China are not good examples of communism/socialism. Life expectancy and poverty rates plummeted all over the world during the 20th century

If you exclude China from those calculations global poverty by headcount is worse today than 1981 and roughly the same by percentage.
