    So that’s just infrastructure and install cost. That means even the dumbest bean counters out there can’t call solar a bad investment, not even the shortest term thinking quarterly reports obsessed morons.

      Yeah, none of that even considers that the solar panels will just keep making power with minimal maintenance and for the fossil fuel plants, aside from needing more overhead for staff and maintenance, you need to keep buying fossil fuels to burn.

      It’s getting pretty obvious at this point that the only ones pushing for fossil fuels are people who are making money off them, who want to hurt the environment out of spite like some insipid Captain Planet villain, or who are brainwashed by the other two.

        Plus, usually they are written off after 25 years, but in practice they can provide up to 40 years of electricity. With less efficiency, but still almost free power. Only need some replacement in some cables and inverters.
