The rank and file of a terrible organization are victims of that organization in their own right. You are right to be critical of said organization in exploiting these victims for their own gain. Let’s also remember the individual human on any side of a conflict, most of whom are wonderful people being lead to do horrible things. Tribalism is how the powerful continue to convince good people to commit horrible acts.
