I’ve seen an uptick of users from here, I heavily suspect them all to be AI bots. They are flooding !casualuk@feddit.uk
I say “investigate” because I’m not 100% sure.

Well, it’s just one account that seems to have been particularly active today but I am pretty sure they’re a not. There’s quite a few other accounts that I have tagged as “possible bot” until I’m convinced one way or the other.
Eh, I’m not going to defed over one user.
Maybe I’ve been ‘spoiled’ by LLM bots, but I don’t think they’re a bot. IMO, they’re more likely to be a real person who speaks English as a second language.
It’s definitely spam though. Like they keep asking about Piefed’s karma system despite people answering them. I’ll local ban them for now.
