Hi!
I wanted to make a post to ask for recommandations of small and relaxing android games for my wife and I, but I figured this could be broader so : What Android games have you played recently? And what’s your opinion on them?
I’ll start
- Meowdoku : really fun a long while, though the fake leaderboards are annoying (has ads between levels)
- Tile Clear : relaxing and has a few interesting mechanics (has ads between levels)
- POINPY : awesome game from devolver digital, the art style is very nice and the mechanics are challenging while not being too frustrating. It feels like a better take on the old doodle jump formula. (no ads!!)
Mostly puzzle games such as:
- LibreSudoku: Fun Sudoku game with killer Sudoku game mode.
- Braincup: Fun set of short games for improving focus and memory.
- Mental Math: Great way to test your ability to perform math in your head.
EDIT: For relaxing games, I really like Bart Bonte’s collection of color games (red, orange, yellow, green, etc.). They’re quite chill puzzle games with a nice ambience to them.
I second your recommendation for POINPY, it’s probably the best mobile game that I’ve played in a very very long time. The fact that they made it completely free with no ads was an absolutely legendary move.
I’ve also been playing a little bit of Bricky Boy, it’s a fun little brick breaker-esque roguelite game. Nice and relaxing with cool graphics. My only criticism is it feels a bit heavy on the ads sometimes.
I played my steam games. DroidDeck, GameNative.
So CrossCode!
