Not from what I’ve seen.
So growing up as a JW, they rent a lot of convention centers regularly. They get some of the best rates because they book so many blocks of time and are pretty flexible on what dates they book well in advance. One of their big selling points is doing minor repairs and completely cleaning the facilities, leaving them in much better condition than they received them. When I was young, me and my family volunteered for this type of stuff a lot.
So empirically, I have never known what the last event at the CC was, but the conditions are pretty poor regardless. I always assumed it was soda. That is the way it always appears IMO. There is almost always way more on the floor below compared to any of the seats and it is sticky af. Usually, you just grab a pale of soapy hot water and an industrial mop and go to town on everything. Unless the place is carpeted, the upholstery is all vinyl and waterproof. There is usually a crew that disinfect the arm rests and that plays the dual role of finding missing or damaged rests. Finding and fixing all the damage is the main thing, so cleaning is a lot more seat by seat, and row by row specific than you might guess. That focus means no one is really thinking about the messy details. They are trying to go through the checklist for every chair to make sure they function properly and no one gets hurt or is unnecessarily uncomfortable.
