In norwegian we have a word for non-authoritarian leaders, which is called “los”. It comes from somebody who is helping with navigation of ships. I guess it could be translated to guider. You don’t have to listen to the guider, but if they are reckognized as capable, you trust them.

To be absolutely crystal clear: Jessie does not oppose anti-fascist work literally at all. Quite the opposite! But their point is that only anti-fascism is not enough, in particular that leftist media needs to imagine alternative visions of a better world.

As everybody else I haven’t watched the 2.5h video but my thought was: Just llike Fight Club was supposed to criticise toxic masculinity but dudebros where too full of testosterone to understand that and made it their fav movie maybe Andor is the opposite of that? That “nonpolitical” (🤢) dude accidentally made a leftwing series?
