When the US was formed as an independent nation, it laid the foundations of American democracy & liberty (even had the revolutionary war over it with the British) while what is Trump doing right now: instilling a form of authoritarianism (trampling over what the founding fathers fought for) or abusing his power (i.e. dispatches ICE agents to arrest anyone).
I mean, there were bad presidents before Trump (but at least they still maintained their international reputation, Trump is just burying that to the ground by making everyone else hate not only him, but the USA as a whole deeming him a crap leader) Even during queen Elizabeth’s funeral: he wasn’t even invited as he was rude to her before she passed.

Less so than the Republican party that elected him in face of treason and the electoral college that abdicated their duties to refuse to elect him. Like, the framers knew there would be irrational, power-hungry populists. They used the term “Nero” as an insult. But it’s the duty of everyone else to understand that sound governance requires you to not elect them. They gave us checks and balances, and we refused to use them.

His attitude towards humans in general (including Americans) is a disgrace. He only exists to accumulate money and power. Nothing else is of interest to him. The only people who are gladly supporting him are 1) companies and individuals who want more money/power themselves and 2) right-wing extremists who are gullible by definition (pro-authoritarian, want to follow a Führer blindly, hate outsiders of their own group). Hence the strategy to convert conservatives to right-wing extremists via manipulation and propaganda.
