1.5 mm diameter, 300 lbs tensile strength, can be used as a friction saw. Pull on the aglet to easily unravel.

I’ve made a Paracord version of this, but kevlar is thinner and stronger.

    Ok, so pull to easily unravel, that’s cool, but what about when you’re done then it’s surely a doozy to put it back in bracelet form, no?

      Not too hard at all. Here’s a video on how it’s done. I wrap mine slightly differently, but same basic premise.
