Schumer did endorse Mamdani in the general, and Mamdani has been a DNC candidate even before he won his DNC Primary Election.

My favorite quote from Mamdani is that he is “a socialist, but not a communist”.

His ties to the shifty DSA aside, it’s clear that the supposed divide between Mamdani and the rest of the DNC is just desperation from anti-DNC advocates trying to rationalize their support of him during the primary.

That’s entirely meaningless that he supported mamdani in the general. Who tf else was he going to endorse? Silwa?

He supported him because he had no choice but to and Jeffries support at the 11th hour is just as meaningless. The DNC needs to be reformed, because the only other path is to go the way of the Whigs.

You clearly have memory loss, because the corporate friendly, wants-to-negotiate-with-Trump, slimeball from a previous erra, former mayor Cuomo was running independent in the general and was endorsed by Schumer in the DNC Primary. For Schumer to back Mamdani in the general shows that they respect the DNC platform and democracy more than their personal beliefs.

Meanwhile, the piece of shit GOP assholes like Trump completely abandoned Sliwa in the general, asked him to drop out because they feared the DNC candidate Mamdani.

You must have some memory loss ,because Mamdani lacked the establishment Democrats support. https://www.politico.com/live-updates/2025/11/04/congress/schumer-ultimately-rejects-mamdani-endorsement-00636312

Schumer caving on Trump’s big grift bill was the final nail in the coffin for the old Democrats. Ain’t it a coincidence that the 8 non-republicunts that voted for Trump’s dogshit weren’t up for reelection, so they could push the bill without damaging their image.

The vast majority of DNC openly and vocally supported Mamdani, both state and federal, because Mamdani was the DNC candidate.

The fact that you people can only continuously repeat the same two names who were reluctant over and over and over is evidence of that.

Yeah, that’s a good thing, but Senate minority leader and deputy are actual positions of authority and that means their decisions and opinions matter. Which is the source of my criticism of the DNC

The point being argued here is that they need to be replaced by people like Mamdani, so the party can actually start digging the country out of the hell hole we find ourselves in.

The DNC has to start pushing out the establishment Dems or the party WILL disintegrate.
