    Just fucking imagine the absurdity of sitting there watching the earth grow smaller as you’re in a space module traveling to go take a trip around the moon. You’re here and everyone else is there.

      Most astronauts speak of this moment and realizing how absurd most of our efforts are. The humbleness of realizing that ALL of reality and knowledge has come from this one place. Pretty cool in my opinion.

          Yea, Bezos pretended he had an emptional enlightening and then kept doing terrible things. Dude’s so broken that seeing the whole planet from space wasn’t enough to set him straight.

            @Soup @Velypso this never made sense to me. Why should that set him straight. He financed the rockets to get the ultimate “looking down on others” experience. Have you seen the videos of their “missions”? The one Shatner was on was already a disgrace. Everyone except Shatner was drinking and partying. For Bezos it’s just a stag do.
