    Game publisher executive.

Like the people who run EA, Xbox, PlayStation, etc. All inclusive, I don’t think there are any good ones. They’re all working to drive prices up, wages down, and creativity? These people don’t give two shits about the games. They are not gamers. They see gamers as useful to keep their profits high and that’s it.

Support indie game developers whenever you can. Stardew Valley is a game I’ve tried very hard to like, not because I bought it twice, but because one guy made it and has supported it faithfully for ten years, and he genuinely cares about the experience. It’s just not the kind of game I like. I should — I play Animal Crossing. But Stardew Valley is based on Harvest Moon (another Nintendo game), but way more advanced. I think Animal Crossing was also inspired by Harvest Moon, but it’s the dumbed down version for kids. (It’s also post-apocalyptic, if you read between the lines! So that’s awesome.) But nah, I don’t like the game, but I love the developer’s passion for it, and I plan to buy his next game straight away. I think I will like it (“Haunted Chocolatier”) a little more, since it’s less farming and more questing, but instead of farming, it’s shop keeping.

Because their job is to sell you someone else’s problem. While you can buy a used/previously owned vehicle that doesn’t have problems, if it does, they still have to sell it, and as long as it lasts longer than your local “lemon law” (if you have one) says, then it’s your problem after that and you have no recourse other than to sell it and still lose a chunk of money. (Most likely, after they sell it, and after the lemon law makes it entirely your problem, they spread the word around that the car is, in fact, a lemon, so other used car dealers won’t touch it.)

The last used car salesman I interacted with was great, he really went out of his way to secure the deal and gave excellent service. I’d trust him over any politician

I can’t imagine applying to work for HR personally. I’ve never liked an HR person. I’m not even someone that gets called up by HR I just see how they work and hate it.

was looking through the list because common ones like lawyer and politician have bad folks but many good folks actually trying to improve things. Seems like its hard to be a success long term wtihout being one. This though. Man I would likely put at the top. If someone is successful in this field they are aweful.

I used to be an insurance adjuster for a car insurance company. Worst job in the world. I would meet the insured and they are going through a terrible time. Then I would meet with the auto shop and they want to make as much money as possible. Then I would need to negotiate to get a reasonable number. Then I find out instead of repairing the dents and dings they just put Bondo on the whole thing. So the insured gets a piece of crap vehicle back and the auto shop and insurance company makes an incredible amount of money.

      I quit after three weeks.

Aside from cops and military worker solidarity with any working assholes over inherited wealth nepo babies and trust funders who use capital to oppress people who weren’t born under similar privilege.
