    All this time spent on an article and they don’t even do any basic analysis. Looking at the chart, spending is only slightly up from 2007 numbers when adjusted for inflation.

    I just cannot relate. I have never done nor felt pressured to do any of this for my kids. We also do minimal Christmas gifts. They’re school-aged now, too, so it’s not because they’re babies or toddlers. They don’t seem to care, either.

      Yeah I did not realize this was a copy paste from US lifestyle. When I was a youngling I did Easter egg hunts in the house and gifts from santa and family.

        I’m in the US and don’t know a single parent doing anything like the social media baits in the article. They just get a lot of views and the media portrays it as if “everyone” is doing it.

    It’s weird that under Canada is an American Easter story. They know we’re a separate country right?
