    Do I have to be the one to say it? If their profits have doubled, the war didn’t set the new price, they did.

    BP could have raised prices only as high as needed to absorb the increase in their baseline costs. Instead they - and every other gas company - chose to use the war as an excuse to double their margins. That’s just profiteering, plain and simple.
