      Or maybe it’s bad by design - they could be intentionally overcharging for profit, or the courses should be revised bcs a 50% failure rate usually indicates something wrong with the learning institution, not the students.

      Unless a high failure rate itself is a core teaching technique (in the sense that folk need to get accustomed to failure & financial consequences - but that would be weird).

        I know lots of people who shouldn’t be on the road but are because road tests in Canada are beyond easy.

        IMO driving should be taught in secondary school regardless if they have a licence or not and that way people will know the rules.

        Sit at an intersection and watch how many people are unable to properly turn esp trucks/SUV. They never let their rear wheels hit the line before turning so they cut into opposing lanes.

        All because they are being taught by people who don’t know how to teach driving because once again our testing standards are dogshit

          Yes, reform the system.

          (Or you know, make alternative infrastructure so ppl aren’t forced to drive.)

          Also yes, ppl not only cut into other lanes at intersections, but also change lanes completely, wtf.
