Oh wow, that’s way more than I’d heard. It’s not something I follow though hah.
I’m still surprised there are people out there like one of the original people cured who knew they were injured by a bat, who were like, nah, i’m not going to get the vaccine immediately.
At least where I’m from it was taught pretty early that rabies was serious and you had to get a vaccine right away if any animal attacked and injured you just in case.
