Correct me if I am misunderstanding the situation but wouldn’t councils be responsible for handing out building approvals?
I could also be wrong but I think for major construction projects the state government gives out the permits.
Data centres are a complete waste of space and resources. They need to be completely ripped down and the land salvaged.
