The adoption of AI is for the very purpose of automation to eliminate the most persistent thorn in the Capitalist’s side: human labour. “They” will never use AI to make your, or my, life easier.

That’s a blithely rose colored view of the situation.
The adoption of AI is for the very purpose of automation to eliminate the most persistent thorn in the Capitalist’s side: human labour.
