The result in Farrer has made One Nation's attempts to become the natural home for conservative Australians look less like a protest and more like a genuine electoral threat.

And yeah, I live in rural Australia, I know most ruroids are concavebrained and suited to nothing more intellectually demanding than a peasant lifestyle. It’s a shame that we live under a political system in which these ghouls get the same amount of influence as people who actually want to improve society somewhat.
