i think racism is not what was meant by “offensive” here, at least that’s my interpretation of it. The word “offensive” is not typically used for words that are actually an attack on you, but for things that “hurt your feelings”, in other words conflict with your tradition. And that’s not something that i’m willing to protect.
I guess I see that, but then what exactly do they mean? Transphobia? Homophobia? Making fun of you for some arbitrary condition you have?
In any case, why should I just turn a blind eye to it and let them continue harassing other people? Why shouldn’t I stand up for myself to a hateful person/group?
