I thought leaving the EU was a terrible idea at the time AND have wanted to rejoin ever since we left. Now with that said I would have to seriously think about voting to rejoin if we had to leave the Pound behind.
I’d probably agree to every other thing the EU throws at us, but I have a strange attachment to the Pound.
However I also don’t think the EU should take us back at all after what we did. We don’t deserve them.
What should happen is that every time it’s suggested to an EU politician they should just laugh hysterically then say “Nigel Farage” and “Boris Johnson” then shake their heads and walk off.
Great Britain is certainly welcome to come back to Europe, but this time they can abolish their pound for euro, do they want this?
