Yes OK let’s agree that they are to the degree that they allow evil, but neutral is still a lesser evil than actively evil. They are not taking healthcare away from people for instance, and only the government can decide on a top level that counts for the entire country.
Actively evil the government can take healthcare away from people all over the country, and that is exactly what Republicans have done.
Your lesser evil is directly responsible for Trump becoming president and has done nothing to stop him. They could have arrested him for trying to overthrow the government in 2021 and also for the Epstein files decades ago. They could also choose good candidates to run that have policies that people like, yet they don’t. Even now they do nothing to try and stop what is happening. Both sides are responsible for how the country is today.
