If you can pay your monthly nut and have confidence to be able to do that into the future for yourself and your family its awesome. When you can’t do that it degrades quickly.
That’s really broad. Not even a moment of joy sipping a favorite beverage? Catching the sunset? Petting a cat sleeping on your lap?
There’s a lot of enjoyment in life. You just have to take the time to notice it.

I’ve enjoyed adult life more than young life.
It’s possible at any age to get trapped in a world where there is nothing but suffering and pain, if you’re so inclined.

@Rhynoplaz dealing with people of my age l suppose. When l was younger, people communicated more freely unlike l observe them now. I feel suffocated while trying to talk to people.
Are you interacting with people and getting negative responses? Or, are you not interacting with others because you are anxious about what will happen?
Just trying to see what direction to point you in. I agree that it does get harder to meet people and make friends in adulthood, but it’s definitely possible.
@Rhynoplaz today l was on an online group call. I hung on the call for nearly two hours, and chatted with just two people for a few minutes. It’s a group of 140. And usually, there are at least 5 people hanging out when this group call happens. But this time only 3 people attended, out of the 140, in a total time span of 2 hours.
Yes there is, but you need to make it yourself. Like how your parents made the environments for enjoyment you had as a kid.
@slazer2au my parents had a tough time literally to make us see happy moments. It boils down to the economic question in essence.
But honestly, you shouldn’t keep any expectation from human beings.
