I mean, it’s not advisable as they are intended to live out in the wild. Even if you managed to tame one: would naming it Lemmy be suitable while being a literal mascot of Lemmy (this website). However, lemurs aren’t the “typical” pet like that you would expect from a cat, dog, hamsters or even a bird.
while being a literal mascot of Lemmy
Lemmy’s mascot is a lemming rather than a lemur.

In a 2020 post, Lemmy’s co-creator Dessalines wrote about the origin of the name Lemmy. “It was nameless for a long time, but I wanted to keep with the fediverse tradition of naming projects after animals. I was playing that old-school game Lemmings, and Lemmy (from Motorhead) had passed away that week, and we held a few polls for names, and I went with that.”[7]

Then, why does the banner of this community display a lemur?
From a quick youtube search I guess you can, there are a lot of videos of people interacting with lemurs in captivity.
As they are small they can’t scratch off your face like chimpanzees. Afaik the problem with feral animals as pets that that they are not reliable, they can forget humans are not a threat. There are a lot of stories of chimpanzees who were living their whole life with humans unexpectedly attacking people, like: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=St._James_Davis_chimpanzee_attack&wprov=rarw1 or https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Travis_%28chimpanzee%29&wprov=rarw1
The mascot of Lemmy is a lemming, not a lemur.
