    Yeah, kind of disappointed. Thought there’d be a rule against it.

    In March 2026, the English Wikipedia community prohibited the use of AI to add content to articles, with exceptions for copy editing and machine translation from another language’s Wikipedia.

    There seems to be a rule against AI “content” in the English wikipedia. And the taco article in English does not contain the image.

    They should make this rule universal.

    And I’m not sure I agree with the exception about translations unless it’s reviewed by a human.

      All machine translation already requires human review and approval, per Wikipedia’s rules; this falls under that umbrella.
