In USA, we have a tag-team political system also known as “good cop/bad cop”; both using the other to blame their many failures on. It’s very important that they lose every four to eight years (at maximum) to maintain plausible deniability. There is some good-natured competition here and there, they are not the same, but they are both anti-union and pro-corporation.
The vote histories show a very clear line of separation of good and evil. Things are as bad as they are now because the USA has had 48 or less DNC senators for over 13 years and counting.

I watched a clip of the interview where he made a statement about impeachment and his complaint was that it wouldn’t go anywhere, he didn’t say he wouldn’t vote for it.
Even the literally braindamaged Fetterman, worst of the DNC, is better than any GOP.
It’s still relevant because there are only 20 GOP seats total for reelection in 2026, and we need 67 to remove Trump, so even though he’s here until 2028 we need his vote, too.
