What does it matter who invented it?
Reminds me of the story of the New York Times outing the author of Slate Star Codex. It was big inconvenience for him to have his real identity revealed, but what was the societal benefit? It just makes them more vulnerable to harassment and abuse.
A lot of it is the tens of billions of dollars worth of Bitcoin they own, that have never been moved, and are assumed by the market to be lost.
Maybe more than 100 billions of dollars even, depending on whether you “only” consider the 1,148,800 BTC that have never been spent or the 1,814,400 BTC that have been awarded to Satoshi in total.
