This smells like AI. Why does it look like the “opposum” has a 2nd set of ears growing out it’s back, and how did they even take the first picture (I’m ignorant about trail cams so I could be missing something). Also the fur pattern on the cat’s front paws and face don’t match. In the first the booties go pretty high up on the leg and in the second the legs look entirely black. On the mouth/whiskers there is a clear cut out of the white on the face with the black coloring in the first picture, while in the second picture the entire mouth/whiskers area is white.

I fucking hate generative AI cause even if this is real I still have to question it.

Is that a raccoon without the black eye markings? That’s definitely no opossum, at least not one you’d find in Alabama.

But I’m also getting strong AI slop vibes, so that might explain it

Also, the white patch on the cat’s nose is inconsistent. I’m calling it, it’s slop

Also two completely different sheds, and the cat’s markings are different.

And the raccoons in a perfect line behind the cat would just make no sense.

Is that actually a possum? To me it looks a lot like the lighter, maskless face of the Key raccoon subspecies in Florida, but this is supposed to be Alabama.

I love stories of interspecies collaboration. I bet the Possum is the wild card of the group.

That guy should probably put a camera in the shed as well, see what they’re really getting up to.
